Is Austin Reaves playing for Lakers vs. Timberwolves tonight?

Austin Reaves was the Los Angeles Lakers’ second-best player against the Golden State Warriors.

While Luka Doncic was undeniably the Lakers’ MVP (43-point scoring night) in the organization’s 119-109 loss, Reaves ensured he didn’t allow his superstar teammate to do it all by himself on the offensive end.

The Oklahoma product chipped in with 26 points on 56.3% field goal shooting, but it’s worth noting he didn’t shoot the ball well from three on opening night (20%).

Still, it was encouraging to witness Reaves do his best to support Doncic on the hardwood and help make things interesting late in the contest.

That said, will the 27-year-old appear in the Lakers’ second regular-season game against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight after suffering an ankle tweak during practice?

Is Austin Reaves playing tonight vs. the Timberwolves?

Yes, Reaves will be active for the Lakers tonight when they face the Timberwolves at Crypto.com Arena.

According to the Lakers insider Jovan Buha, Reaves is good to go and wasn’t listed on the injury report before the start of the Friday night contest.

If the Lakers want to come out victorious, they’ll need Reaves to continue his aggressive ways offensively and find his footing from the beyond arc (he’s a 36.9% career three-point shooter, which should instill confidence in the 6-foot-5 star guard).
