The 2025 PGA Tour heads to Greensboro, North Carolina, for the last event of the FedExCup Regular Season, the Wyndham Championship, beginning Thursday, July 31.
This event will mark the last opportunity for players to rack up points to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs, with the top 70 players going through. The spotlight will be on Matti Schmid who is currently ranked No. 70, to defend his position and qualify.
Aaron Rain won the Wyndham Championship last year by defeating the likes of Max Greyserman, J.J. Spaun, and Ryo Hisatsune. He will look to become the first player to defend his title since Sam Snead.
However, it won’t be an easy task for Rai as he will have to compete with the likes of World No. 7 Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama, and Ben Griffin who are also top contenders to win the championship.

The Wyndham Championship will air on Golf Channel nationally. CBS will carry the final hours of the third and fourth round, beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday and on Sunday.
