Rory McIlroy and Boston Common Golf eye their first win in the TGL as they battle the Los Angeles Golf Club on Tuesday night.
McIlroy just secured his first win of the 2025 PGA TOUR season with a sterling performance at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. McIlroy, ranked No. 3 in the world, will look to carry that success over into his second TGL match, having previously lost to Jupiter Links Golf Club.
Keegan Bradley and Adam Scott are slated to join McIlroy in Boston Common Golf’s active lineup.
They’ll be opposed by Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose for Los Angeles GC, with Fleetwood making his TGL debut. Morikawa and Rose helped usher a 12-1 beatdown of Jupiter Links earlier in the TGL season, making a strong first impression for Los Angeles GC.

Tiger Woods, a member of the Jupiter Links Golf Club, made his second TGL appearance last Monday against Boston Common Golf. Woods helped steer Jupiter Links to a 4-3 victory, their first of the young TGL season.

TGL golf format
Matches are scheduled for two hours and will feature three of the four PGA Tour golfers from each roster going head-to-head.
The 15-hole courses are split into two sessions: A nine-hole, 3-on-3 format dubbed ‘triples,’ and a six-hole, head-to-head “singles” round. Each hole is worth one point.
At the end of the regular season, the top four teams advance to the playoffs, featuring single-elimination semifinals and a best-of-three finals.
