MLB history will be made in Tennessee when the Braves and Reds face off at Bristol Motor Speedway.
It’ll be the first MLB game played at a race track and the first American League or National League game in the state of Tennessee.
The game is the first of its kind and will take place inside the race track at Bristol Motor Speedway. The field will be 330 feet to each pole and 400 feet to the center field wall. AstroTurf will be the surface rather than grass.
Bristol Motor Speedway is typically home to NASCAR races, including the Food City 500 in the Cup Series that took place on April 13. The Bass Pro Shops Night Race will also be a Cup Series race at this venue.
