The 2025 PGA Tour heads to Rio Grande for its first additional event of the season, the Puerto Rico Open, beginning Thursday.
Brice Garnett emerged as the winner of last year’s Puerto Rico Open, defeating Erik Barnes for his second PGA Tour title. He will aim to become the first player to win the tournament two years in a row.
The 132-player field is a mix of seasoned veterans and rookies and includes the likes of Wesley Bryan, Ryan Gerard, Matt Wallace, Matti Schmid.
The tournament will be held at the Grand Reserve Golf Club, which was designed by golfing legend Tom Kite and is one of the only two championship courses in the Caribbean.
