How to watch Nationals games without cable: Full TV schedule, streams for 2024 Opening Day & more

The Nationals improved from their 55–107 record in 2022 to 71-91 in 2023, but that wasn’t enough to keep them out of the NL East basement. In 2024, the team is hoping to continue that upward trend behind the leadership of manager Dave Martinez.

After questions surrounding the team’s future and a potential sale, principal owner Mark Lerner recently erased doubts about his position with the team

“No. We have determined, our family has determined, that we are not going to sell the team,” Lerner said via The Washington Post. “Nothing has really changed. We’ve just decided that it’s not the time or the place for it. We’re very happy owning the team and bringing us back a ring one day.”

With its future safe, for now, the team is looking toward 2024. The Nationals signed Nick Senzel, Dylan Floro, and home run hitter Joey Gallo.

Those players got added to a roster that includes promising players like Luis Garcia, Lane Thomas, Victor Robles, and CJ Abrams.

Here’s a complete guide to watching the Nationals this season without cable:

How to watch Nationals games without cable

For those without cable, there are several options to stream Nationals games this year:

If you’re in-market, Fubo carries Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN), the Nationals’ RSN, but blackout restrictions apply. If you are within the market for MASN, you can watch Nationals baseball via Fubo. Those out of market will not be able to watch Nationals games on the streaming service, since Fubo will not carry the out-of-market RSN.

If you live outside the Nationals’ TV market, you can watch games via MLB.tv.  For $149.99 for the season or $29.99 per month, you can catch every game from every team outside your local market. You can also pick a single-team option for $129.99 for the season. Again, this is only if you are outside the Nationals’ TV market: If you are inside the Nationals’ market, games will be blacked out. Games will also be blacked out if you live outside the Nationals’ market, but inside the market of teams the Nationals are visiting.

Fubo is also carrying MLB.tv, for $29.99 per month on top of the Fubo subscription.

For nationally televised games, there are a few options, with some exceptions: Fubo, SlingTV, and DirecTV Stream all carry ESPN, MLB Network and FS1. YoutubeTV and Hulu + Live TV carry ESPN and FS1, but they do not carry MLB Network in 2024.

You can check if games are blacked out in your area using MLB’s blackout tool.
