The WTA tour heads to the desert for the third 1000 event of the season, BNP Paribas Open, which will take place in Indian Wells, California, from Wednesday, March 5, to Sunday, March 16.
Defending champion Iga Swiatek will hope to continue her dominant streak at the tournament. She has a 16-1 record in the last three years, including title runs in 2022 and 2024.
This will be Madison Keys’ first tour event since she won the 2025 Australian Open. Also in action are World No 1 Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and former champions Elena Rybakina (2023), Naomi Osaka (2018) and Paula Badosa (2021).
