How to watch French Open 2025: TV channel, live stream, schedule for Roland-Garros tennis

All eyes will be on Paris, France, as the second grand slam of the 2025 tennis season, the French Open returns with its 129th edition beginning Sunday, May 25, and culminating on Sunday, June 8 with the men’s singles final.

Carlos Alcaraz is the men’s defending champion heading into this year’s event.

He comes into this edition of the Roland Garros on the back of excellent performances in this year’s clay swing, having won the Monte Carlo Open and Italian Open. However, it will be a far from easy task for the young Spaniard to defend his title with the likes of Zverev, World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, and Novak Djokovic vying for the trophy.

In the women’s field, ‘queen of the clay’ Iga Swiatek will look to make history by becoming the first woman in more than a century to win the French Open on four consecutive occasions, matching Suzanne Lenglen’s record.

The 23-year-old will however have a challenger in World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka who has been impressive in the WTA tour this year, having won three titles. Additionally, the likes of Coco Gauff, Jasmine Paolini, and Zheng Qinwen are also top contenders for the title.

The Sporting News is on hand to bring you all you need to know to ensure you don’t miss a minute of the action.
