How to watch Cubs vs. Yomiuri Giants: Time, TV schedule, channel live stream for Tokyo exhibition game

MLB’s Tokyo Series looms less than 72 hours away, with the Cubs and Dodgers beginning the 2025 season abroad.

Chicago continues to gear up for Opening Day with an exhibition game against Nippon Professional Baseball’s Yomiuri Giants on Sunday morning — or, in Tokyo, Sunday night.

First pitch is set for 5 a.m. CT, so it’s a good test run for Cubs fans ahead of the two-game series later in the week.

Shota Imanaga and Seiya Suzuki are the two Japanese players on the Cubs roster. Imanaga, a southpaw, is slated to start Game 1 of the Tokyo Series. Elsewhere, Chicago touts Kyle Tucker — its prized offseason acquisition — and electric center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, who enters his second full MLB season with raised expectations.

The Sporting News has everything you need to know to watch Sunday’s Cubs vs. Yomiuri Giants exhibition game.
