Scottie Scheffler is checking off career boxes left and right. He has been ranked as the top golfer in the world for over two years, and now, Scheffler is only two major wins away from a career Grand Slam after he won the 2025 PGA Championship.
Scheffler is 29 and won’t turn 30 on June 21, 2026. With three majors under his belt already, he needs wins at the U.S. Open and the British Open to complete the career Grand Slam. Scheffler is in the driver’s seat heading into championship Sunday at the Open Championship, holding a four-stroke lead over Haotong Li.
While winning the major will already be a big accomplishment for Scheffler, the victory would also qualify him for an exclusive club of some of golf’s best.
