Pedro Neto and Nicolas Jackson are only two of the attacking options that Chelsea have at their disposal going into the next season.
However, the duo are at contrasting ends of their Chelsea careers at the moment.
While Neto is set to rebuff offers from Saudi Arabia and stay at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming season, Jackson is reportedly on his way out.
If he does leave the Blues, there is no guarantee that Enzo Maresca’s team will sign another striker before the transfer market shuts.
Though this might surprise a few, Pedro Neto’s versatility could alter Chelsea’s plans of replacing Jackson in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, if Jackson does leave the club, Chelsea could choose to sign another wide player instead of a striker since Pedro Neto can play in that position.

It also means that Enzo Maresca could head into the season with Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Neto as his striker options.
Pedro Neto has a good record in games where he has started as a striker, with 4 goal contributions in 6 games.
However, Chelsea have a big decision on their hands, whether to potentially replace Jackson with another striker or a winger, and it’s one that they might have to make sooner rather than later.
