Part of the longest-running events on the PGA Tour heads to Maryland for the first time since 2021 when the BMW Championship comes to Caves Valley Golf Club.
Over $20 million is at stake when the tournament begins on August 14. When it ends on August 17, one golfer from the top 50 will have momentum heading into The Tour Championship, which determines the FedEx Cup Champion.
Previously known as the Western Open until 2007, the BMW Championship has hosted some of the world’s top golfers. Keegan Bradley won last year, earning glory for the first time since 2018.

BMW Championship 2025 dates
This year, the BMW Championship will begin on Wednesday, August 13 with a day of practice. Round 1 will be on Thursday, August 14. Round 4, the finals, will be played on August 17.
It all goes down at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mill, Maryland.
