The exact specifications of the ring Cristiano Ronaldo bought to signify his engagement to fiancee Georginia Rodriguez, but experts have already begun to weigh in with guesses.
Kegan Fisher, an expert cited by InStyle, estimates the ring is “definitely over 15 carats, and more likely in the 20-25 carat range.” The expert also identified the ring to have a “triple-oval” setting, which he denotes as “quite rare.” Meanwhile, People Magazine cited their own expert, Tobias Kormind, who believes it could be upwards of an unfathomable 35 carats, while another, Laura Taylor, came in at a more conservative at around 15-20 carats.
Even less is known about how much such an enormous ring might have cost. Benjamin Khordipour, an expert cited by Brides.com, estimates the ring could be worth around $1.2 million, believing the ring to be around 22 carats. People Magazine’s experts Kormind and Taylor disagree on their valuation of the ring, with one believing it to be worth upwards of $5 million while the other said over $2 million.
It’s also not yet known who made the ring, although that information will likely filter out eventually as the manufacturer often takes credit in order to capitalize on the publicity and credibility that would come with such a feat.

Add that eye-watering amount to the massive wages he’s earned since joining the club, and even prior with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, and the Portuguese superstar has become a financial juggernaut.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, it’s estimated the Portugal veteran was worth around $800 million (€682m / £581.5m) at the time of signing his new contract, up from $500 million (€426m / £363m) a few years ago.
Forbes reported that Ronaldo made $275 million (€234.5m / £200m) in 2025 alone, and they reported in 2020 that he was the first footballer to earn $1 billion over the course of his career.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his now-fiancee Georgina Rodriguez have been dating since 2016. According to Spanish publication AS, Rodriguez met the Portugal star at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she was working as a shop assistant.
Rodriguez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and then moved with her family and was raised in the northeastern Spanish city of Jaca. It has a population of just over 13,000 and is near the French border, around 450km from Madrid.
She is said to have worked as a waitress in her hometown before moving in with a family in Bristol, England, as an au pair.
