Before it was even over, history was made at the 2025 Masters. Identical twins Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard competed in the tournament together, becoming the first set of twins to play in the Masters at Augusta National.
Adding to the sibling competition, Nicolai actually made the Masters field first, competing in the 2024 edition of the annual invite-only tournament. Rasmus debuted at Augusta National in 2025, having qualified in the top 50 of last year’s world rankings. Nicolai made the 2025 field by special invitation.
The 24-year-old brothers both turned professional in 2019, mainly competing on the European Tour. They’ve both competed in the PGA Tour’s majors, making history with Rasmus finally playing in the Masters.
