Barcelona are already planning their next big moves — and Hansi Flick isn’t dodging the headlines.
As the season ends, transfer talks heat up in Catalonia. And while Flick isn’t naming names, his latest comments suggest he has a winger — or two — on his radar.
Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford are being linked with a move to Camp Nou for a while now. Flick was asked directly about the pair, and though he chose his words carefully, the hint was clear.
“Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford are both fantastic players, I like them and we’ll see what happens,” Flick said. “I won’t speak about players who are at other clubs.”
The coach might have tried to play it safe, but fans read between the lines. With Barcelona looking to strengthen out wide, the timing of these links is no coincidence.
Despite Raphinha extending his contract last week, the club wants more depth on the flanks. With Ansu Fati already looks set to leave, Flick might need to cover his empty boots.

Can Barcelona sign any of Diaz or Rashford?
Barca sporting director Deco has already spoken positively about both Díaz and Rashford. Now, Flick seems to be echoing the same tune.
It’s clear that the club wants to hit the wings with more firepower next season — and not just with hopeful crosses.
Rashford is currently out of favor at Manchester United. A decent loan spell to Aston Villa haven’t helped his stock, but a new challenge in Spain could revive his career.
Díaz, on the other hand, remains a key player at Liverpool — but his price tag is steep. While the Reds might be willing to sell some of their firepower this summer, considering they might bring in Florian Wirtz
Barcelona’s financial limits are still a major factor. The club had to wrestle with La Liga over player registrations last season, so any big-name signing will require some juggling.
Still, Flick knows the pressure’s on to keep Barcelona competitive. “We also want to improve next season… but we have to work on this level,” he said.
For now, it’s all whispers and winks. But if Flick gets his wish, Camp Nou could soon see a new face — or two — flying down the wing.
