Gisele Bündchen celebrated Mother’s Day, May 11, with a touching Instagram post – and her first ever public photo of her newborn son with boyfriend Joaquim Valente.
In the opening image, the supermodel cradles her baby, who’s dressed in a white onesie embroidered with “I ❤️ MOM.” The post celebrates her first Mother’s Day as a mom of three and comes after months of relative social media silence.
“I’ve been quiet over here but very busy living life,” she wrote. “Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they’re simply lived.”
Bündchen, 44, reflected on the lessons she’s learning from slowing down, forming “real connections” and “being present.” Bündchen also paid tribute to her mother, Vania Nonnenmacher, who passed away in January 2024, “I specially miss my mom, but my heart is full.”
“Being a mother—it’s been my greatest gift,” she said. “A journey that humbles me, teaches me, and fills me with gratitude every single day.”
One of the other pics shows Bündchen and Valente having a group hug with the newborn and her two older children, Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady.
The pair have not yet revealed their son’s full name, though People reports that his middle name is River.
Bündchen divorced Brady in 2022 and began dating Valente shortly after. A source recently told Page Six the model feels “freer” and is “absolutely loving this new chapter.”
