Speaking to RMC Sport, a Marseille police source said, “A PSG win could make some people lose their heads. If you add in opportunistic delinquency, you get a recipe for a high-risk evening.”
Updated security plans are already in place to manage expected crowds, regardless of the result in Munich.
PSG are seeking their first-ever European title, and Luis Enrique’s team are just one win away from becoming only the second French club to win the UCL. Marseille, who beat AC Milan 1–0 in 1993, still stand alone in that category currently.
