The action at Roland Garros is nearly complete, and soon, the 2025 French Open competitors will receive some financial rewards for their play.

The second grand slam tournament of 2025 will have a total purse that’s over five percent larger than the 2024 tournament — but it’s not just the winners who walk away with some cash.

Nearly every player will walk away with some money, with each round of the tournament providing more financial stakes, including qualifying.

Here’s what to know about the total purse and prize money by round for the 2025 French Open, including both the singles and doubles tournaments.

The total prize to be distributed at this year’s French Open is just above $64 million in USD and €56.35 million in euros.

The winners take home more money as they progress through the rounds at the French Open. Since 2007, male and female competitors have earned the same amount of prize money.  Winners in the singles tournaments earn approximately $2.9 million.
