We have reached the last weekend of the French Open, with the champions for 2025 about to be decided.
Aryna Sabalenka will do battle with Coco Gauff in the women’s singles final, while Jannik Sinner will take on Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s decider.
Along with the prestige and honour of winning Roland-Garros, there is also some hefty prize money on offer for both the victors and runners-up.

French Open prize money: Women’s and men’s singles winners
In 2025, the singles champions in Paris will take home a whopping €2.55 million (US$2.9m).
This is a €150,000 (US$170,000) increase on last year’s offering.
Runners-up will also head home considerably richer, as they are set to earn €1.275 million (US$1.45m).
The French Open has provided equal prize money to men’s and women’s players since 2007.

French Open prize money: Mixed, men’s and women’s doubles winners
There is significantly less prize money on offer for doubles winners compared to their singles counterparts.
Regardless, the €590,000 (US$671,000) pay packet for the men’s and women’s champion teams is nothing to be sneezed at.
Runners-up will earn half that figure – €295,000 (US$335,500).
In the mixed doubles, the winning pair will receive €122,000 (US$139,000), while the second-placed duo will make €61,000 (US$69,500).
All doubles prize money is per team, meaning the winnings are split.
