Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been given strong advice about his future as uncertainty looms over his contract situation.
His former coach, Diaa El-Sayed, believes the Egyptian forward should remain at Anfield rather than seek a move elsewhere.
Salah, who has been at Liverpool since 2017, is nearing the final year of his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025.
Talks over a renewal have yet to yield results, sparking speculation about his next move. Several clubs, including those from the Saudi Pro League, are reportedly monitoring the situation closely.
El-Sayed, who worked with Salah at the Egypt Under-20s level, played a crucial role in shaping his early career.
He transformed Salah from a left-back into the attacking force he is today. Now, he is making it clear where he thinks Salah should be playing next season.

What Diaa El-Sayed wants Salah to do?
Speaking to The Sun, El-Sayed insisted that Liverpool remains the best place for Salah.
“I have known Salah since he was just a kid, and I know how honest he is as a human being,” he said. “He’s had eight amazing years at Liverpool, and his numbers are just incredible.”
Salah has been central to Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp and now under Arne Slot, winning the Premier League, Champions League, and multiple domestic trophies.
He has also become one of the club’s all-time leading goal scorers. Despite reported interest from Saudi Arabian clubs such as Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, El-Sayed is adamant that Anfield is where Salah should continue his career.
“We in Egypt would love him to stay beyond this summer,” he added. “He loves Liverpool, and he loves the city too. I don’t want to hear that he’s moving to Saudi Arabia, PSG, or any other club. Because of him, we all follow Liverpool, and so for us, that is where we want to see him end it all.”
With Liverpool still in contention for multiple trophies this season, Salah remains a key figure.
The Reds are preparing for a crucial Champions League knockout tie against PSG, followed by Premier League fixtures and a Carabao Cup final clash with Newcastle.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Liverpool fans will be hoping Salah takes El-Sayed’s advice and commits his future to the club.
