Liverpool are expected to offload a host of first-team players this summer as Arne Slot plans for the 2025/26 season.
As the Reds close in on the Premier League title, as part of Slot’s superb debut campaign on Merseyside, the Dutch coach is already looking ahead to his second campaign.
However, despite positivity over contract extensions over Mohamed Salah and club captain Virgil van Dijk, other long-standing figures will move on.
Trent Aleexander-Arnold is still expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer with striker Darwin Nunez looking for a new club after failing to convince Slot.
Nunez’s exit will bring in a sizeable transfer fee, and back up goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is also angling to leave, as he wants at No.1 slot.
Alisson Becker’s incredible consistency, and the incoming arrival of Valencia stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili, has pushed the Republic of Ireland international towards an Anfield exit.

Kelleher has made 67 appearances across all competitions split over the last six seasons but he never edged past Alisson under Jurgen Klopp, or now with Slot.
The Irishman has openly stated his desire play first-team football, and an exit looks inevitable, with his current deal ending in 2026 and a transfer value of around £20m [$26.5m].
Chelsea are rumoured to be tracking the 26-year-old, to solve their issues between the posts, but former Liverpool star David James has floated one of his other previous clubs – Manchester City – as the perfect destination, despite their burning rivalry with Liverpool.
“Caoimhín’s got that calmness about him. He’s unflappable. He’s also won trophies, which is a major thing. He knows how to get into those positions to win trophies,” as per quotes from GOAL.
“He’s been involved in penalty shootouts, all the stuff you want from a top goalkeeper.
“If Liverpool need to move one goalkeeper on, Man City might need one. He probably wouldn’t have to relocate as it’s only 45 minutes down the road.
“You don’t often see moves like that between two title rivals, but I think this one could benefit all parties.”
Pep Guardiola’s current back up keeper Stefan Ortega has been linked with an exit, for similar reasons to Kelleher at Liverpool, with Ederson into the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
