Former Kansas Jayhawks star gets praise from NBA great Dwyane Wade

Dwyane Wade has seen Mario Chalmers hit big shots before, but this weekend reminded him why his old Miami Heat teammate always had a flair for the moment.

Dwyane Wade goes wild after Mario Chalmers delivers clutch Big3 title shot

In the BIG3 championship, Chalmers knocked down the game-winning three for Miami 305 to knock off the Chicago Triplets 52-48. The triple finished a 9-0 run and sealed the title, sending fans and former teammates into a frenzy.

Chalmers shines again in a championship moment

Chalmers, who only scored five points total, made the biggest one of the night. Michael Beasley powered Miami with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Lance Stephenson added 14 points and nine boards. On the other side, Montrezl Harrell led the Triplets with 16 points in the loss.

Wade, watching closely, couldn’t hold back his excitement. He quickly posted on Instagram, sharing the shot with the caption, “THATS WHAT HE DO! Mario [expletive] Chalmers!”

A winner at every level

At 39, Chalmers has built a resume stacked with titles.
