Former Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips knows a thing or two about succeeding in the Premier League, and he has a word of advice for new Chelsea signing Estevao Willian. The former English international has revealed his admiration for the young Brazilian and is expecting big things from him.
Meanwhile, Estevao Willian has just turned 18 and joined the Chelsea first team squad for their pre-season preparations ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
The teenager has already proved himself by scoring against Chelsea in the recently concluded Club World Cup.
Ever since his performance in that game, Chelsea fans have been eagerly anticipating him linking up with his new teammates at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming Premier League season, and now it’s only a matter of time before their wish is granted.
However, Wright-Phillips has a word of advice for Estevao Willian before he makes his debut for his new club.

Shaun Wright-Phillips urges Estevao not to change his style
As a South American who has never played European football before, Estevao Willian could easily become a soft target for Premier League defenders, especially if he starts pulling out his tricks against them.
However, Weight-Phillips has urged the youngster to be brave and not change his style of play.
In an interview with Chelsea News, the former wide man said: “Don’t change the way you play would be the advice I would give Estevao. For a winger, it’s very important to be unpredictable and make the full-back work.”
“He did that all through the Club World Cup, and I can imagine he has done it all through the season in Brazil.”
“If he comes here with that same attitude, it is going to be hard to stop him, because he looks like a young lad with a lot of confidence who just wants to take people on. He just wants to score goals and create a lot of chances.”
Wright-Phillips’ advice to Estevao Willian is a timely reminder to the youngster to stick to his roots and play to his strengths.
If Estevao Willian does follow Wright-Phillips’ advice, it is certain to hold him in good stead going forward and may help him succeed in the Premier League.
