Former Bulls guard sends cryptic message to Warriors guard

Josh Giddey is testing the free agent waters for the first time in his career, and it’s made for quite the show during the NBA offseason.

And now, after a cryptic Instagram comment left by Giddey on a post by Warriors two-way player Taran Armstrong, many are speculating that Giddey may have his answer as to which team he will suit up for in the 2025-26 season.

The post showed Armstong and Giddey working out together in Melbourne, Australia, their hometown, and in the comments section is a message from Giddey, simply reading “twiz,” a term for a close friend, and now many other fans in the comments are now calling for Giddey to join his countryman in Golden State, even Giddey can clearly be seen wearing a Chicago Bulls shirt during the workout.

A deal with Armstrong likely won’t be Golden State’s main priority until they figure out the situation with Jonathan Kuminga, and on top of that, the team just drafted Alex Toohey, another Australian, in the 2025 draft, which again could improve their chances of landing the 6’8 guard, which may come in the form of a sign-and-trade between Chicago and Golden State, where the Bulls acquire Kuminga, and Giddey joins the likes of Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler with the Warriors.
