The grand finale of the Big3 League is here! Sunday has an epic double-header with the Big3 All-Star Game and the Big3 Championship Match. With tons of elite ballers taking the stage, the finale of Ice Cube’s 3 v 3 league is sure to get spicy.
Before the title game, the league’s top talent will take the floor in the All-Star Game. Nick Young and Nancy Lieberman will serve as head coaches for Team 3 and Team BIG, respectively.
Team 3 (Coach: Nick Young): Greg Monroe, Jordan Crawford, DeShawn Stephens, Glen Rice Jr., Franklin “Frank Nitty” Session
Team BIG (Coach: Nancy Lieberman): Dwight Howard, Earl Clark, Jonathon Simmons, Corey Brewer, Jeremy Pargo
After an intense game, one team separated itself from the other. The winner of the Big3 All-Star game was Team BIG, led by a familiar Lakers fan favorite.
Dwight Howard was an absolute beast in the game, filling up the stat sheet with 23 points, 13 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block. He was also hyper-efficient, going 10 of 18 from the field. While this obviously isn’t Dwight’s greatest basketball accomplishment, it’s still nice that the former Laker is playing meaningful ball.
Dwight had three separate stints with the Los Angeles Lakers. One in 2012-13, one in 2019-20, and the final season of his NBA career in 2021-22. Dwight was a huge part of the Lakers’ 2020 NBA championship.

Since his final season in LA, he has bounced around the world continuing his basketball career. Now he has proven once again that he still has some skills left to show the world. Dwight Howard’s Big3 All-Star MVP award might not shine the brightest on his shelf, but it is still an accomplishment.
