The Los Angeles Lakers are at home on Monday night as they face off against the red-hot Houston Rockets.
Los Angeles enters Monday’s contest amid a recent rough stretch as they have dropped five of their last 10 games but they are coming off a victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.
They will now take on a Rockets team that has won nine of their last 10 games and are currently on a three-game winning streak which included a dominant victory over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.
For the Lakers, they may be without their superstar forward LeBron James on Monday as he continues to deal with a left groin strain.
The good news for Los Angeles is that James is listed as probable and is expected to play on Monday.
This will mark James’ fifth consecutive game played after he was sidelined for seven consecutive games due to his groin injury.

The 40-year-old star is also coming off arguably his best performance since returning from his seven -game absence as he recorded 25 points, six rebounds, eight assists and three steals in Saturday’s victory over the Grizzlies.
The only other player on the Lakers’ injury report is Maxi Kleber who continues to be sidelined due to right foot surgery.
On the other side, the Rockets enter Monday’s game fully healthy as they have listed no players on their injury report.
This is great news for the Rockets especially on the second night of a back-to-back as they look to continue their winning ways on the road against the Lakers.
Fans can catch Monday’s matchup between the Rockets and Lakers from Los Angeles at 10:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
