Indiana is a basketball state through and through.
And there have been very few basketball moments like the one the Hoosier state is having right now.
The Indiana Pacers just won an epic Game 1 of the NBA Finals, never leading until there were 0.3 seconds on the game clock after a Tyrese Haliburton go-ahead jumper that held up to win it, 111-110.
And in the WNBA, the Caitlin Clark-led Indiana Fever are the biggest draw in the league.
There’s great synergy between the squads, too. They attend each others’ games and are huge supporters of one another.
On Thursday night, in the immediate aftermath of Haliburton’s shot, Clark took to X to share her thoughts:
YOU CANT MAKE IT UP 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Teammate Sophie Cunningham joined in:
what am I witnessing right now? @TyHaliburton22

Really, Clark and Cunningham are all of us, sitting at home watching that ending in utter disbelief.
Somehow, the comeback kids did it again.
The Pacers are certainly making Indiana very, very proud.
