Chelsea are reportedly closing in on a double transfer deal to sign Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens from Brighton & Hove Albion and Borussia Dortmund, respectively.
The Blues are ready to spend just over £100m [$137m] on these two signings and Blues fans are clearly excited about their potential.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is on course to sell some of his existing stars, to make room for these two youngsters, as a continuation of his transfer policy from last season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea believe the duo can hit the ground running when the next Premier League season kicks off in August.
Speaking on his transfer podcast, Romano said: “Chelsea believe they are ready to make an impact immediately and that’s really important.
“So it’s not just potential, it’s also the impact they can make immediately for the squad this season with Champions League football and obviously Premier League and all the other competitions.

“But it’s also important to mention that Chelsea believe these two players have big room for improvement.”
Pedro is already an established Premier League player, making just under 89 appearances in the English top flight split across spells at Watford and Brighton, with 22 goals scored.
Gittens, on the other hand, is yet to play in the Premier League, so it may take him a bit longer to life adapt at Chelsea.
The Blues’ first game of the season is up against local rivals Crystal Palace at home and with Chelsea looking to balance their squad after the Club World Cup, Pedro and Gittens could make their debuts against the Eagles.
Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke are the two names potentially being moved on to make way for Pedro and Gittens with the former struggling for form due to several red card suspensions in 2025.
