Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is already at risk of upsetting one of his first-team players during the Club World Cup campaign.
Young sensation Andrey Santos was selected to participate in the ongoing tournament in the USA, but has yet to make his debut for the Blues, much to the disappointment of his fans.
Chelsea have played two games already at the Club World Cup and head into their final group game needing a win to guarantee their place in the next round of the tournament.
In this situation, it is unlikely that Enzo Maresca will give a maiden call-up to Santos in the final group game, and he thereby runs the risk of upsetting the player’s father.
The Brazilian is coming off the back of an incredible season with Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg and would be expecting to make his debut for Chelsea sooner rather than later.
But while Chelsea struggle to find a way to fit Santos into the first team, certain teams from across Europe are keeping a close eye on the player’s situation and plotting a possible move for him.

Bayern Munich set their sights on Andrey Santos amid Chelsea uncertainity
Given his undeniable quality, there is no doubt that there would be teams that are interested in signing the midfielder, should he express his unhappiness at Chelsea.
According to The Guardian, Bayern Munich have an interest in signing the youngster this summer after he didn’t feature against Flamengo in a game that would’ve meant a lot to him as a Brazilian star.
The report goes on to say that the club are hoping Santos will be patient and accept that opportunities will come his way this season, given that they are competing in the Champions League again next season.
The current situation puts pressure on Maresca to try and find a solution to the Andrey Santos situation at the club or run the risk of losing him to a European giant sooner rather than later.
