The first part of the summer transfer window has slammed shut, with Chelsea being one of the busiest clubs in the market.
The Blues announced the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, and also added Mamadou Sarr to their ranks on a long-term deal.
Enzo Maresca’s team also tried to land AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan to their squad, but walked away from a deal for the Frenchman for the time being.
Additionally, they also had a last-minute bid rejected for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens before the window shut.
Chelsea now turn their attention to the FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off in the United States of America next week.
When the second transfer window opens on June 16 the Blues are more likely to focus on outgoings as well as incomings.

Who are the stars that Enzo Maresca told to leave?
To that end, according to a report by The Chelsea Chronicle, Enzo Maresca has already told Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez they can leave when the second transfer window opens next week.
Journalist Graeeme Bailey told the Chelsea Chronicle, “This talk of Chelsea having full faith in their five goalkeepers because we can throw Kepa into this as well. There really is no faith from Enzo Maresca in this at all. Of those five, Enzo Maresca doesn’t want any of them. Robert Sanchez has been told he can leave.”
“Djordje Petrovic has been told he can leave, and there’s interest from Nice. There’s quite a bit of interest in France in him. No shock given the season he just had.”
The report also added that the deal for Mike Maignan is not dead yet, and Chelsea could return to the scene when the opportunity arises again to negotiate with AC Milan.
