Early Week 14 Fantasy Rankings WR PPR: Who to start, best sleepers, top bye-week streamers for wide receivers

Week 14, the final bye weekend of the NFL season, concerns fantasy football managers with many notable wide receivers set to sit out.

Top names including Tetairoa McMillan, Wan’Dale Robinson, Stefon Diggs, and Jauan Jennings will leave noticeable holes in many lineups.

Luckily, they’re not necessarily irreplaceable names, so it’s often more about rounding out depth than scrambling to replace a star.

Filling in those gaps matters in the final week of a chase for a fantasy playoff spot. Let’s nail those start-sit WR decisions with the Week 14 wide receiver rankings.

➕ BEST WR PICKUPS: Week 14 waiver wire

What fantasy WR injury news should I know for Week 14?

Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) looks to be in jeopardy of missing Thursday Night Football against the Cowboys. Lions wideout boosts in the Sun God’s absence would go to Jameson Williams and Isaac TeSlaa.

Drake London (knee) could be in line to return in Week 14. While his managers will be thankful if he does return, the playmaker and Falcons in general will face tough sledding against the Seahawks.

The Bengals’ Tee Higgins remains in concussion protocol and is questionable, at best, for Week 14. Andrei Iosivas and Mitchell Tinsley would get flex-worthy tags in his absence once again.

The surge in targets going toward newcomer Jakobi Meyers’ direction was partially influenced by Parker Washington’s injury. The Jaguars’ Meyers, Washington, and Brian Thomas Jr. — plus TE Brenton Strange — present an improving group of pass-catchers for Trevor Lawrence but may continue to frustrate their fantasy managers down the stretch.

Who are the top fantasy wide receivers for Week 14?

George Pickens, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashee Rice, and (especially with Joe Burrow back) Ja’Marr Chase continue occupying space within the top few WR tiers.

Note Jameson Williams’ placement, with the assumption that ARSB will miss Week 14. Target hogs Chris Olave and Nico Collins deserve their flowers while once again sitting within the top 10.

Keep rolling Puka Nacua out there alongside Davante Adams as Rams QB Matthew Stafford continues his NFL MVP chase.

Who are the top Week 14 fantasy sleepers at wide receiver?

The Nico Collins attention from the Chiefs may open more light coverage for Jayden Higgins, who’s quickly staking his claim as the No. 2 target for the Texans’ CJ Stroud.

Though we talked about the Jaguars’ WR logjam, Brian Thomas Jr. has plenty of upside and remains worth a start against the Colts, who lost Sauce Gardner to injury for at least this week.

We’ll once again chase a Browns WR matchup that should permit Jerry Jeudy to get more involved with QB Shedeur Sanders and his deep throws.

Who are the biggest Week 14 fantasy bust candidates at wide receiver?

Aaron Rodgers’ health woes and Mason Rudolph’s inconsistency once again clouds DK Metcalf’s outlook, especially against an improving Ravens defense.

Bears wideouts remain a weekly gamble, especially as the run game proved to cripple the Eagles defense in Week 13. Expect the game to flow through D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, while Caleb Williams improvises based on the drive. Rome Odunze and DJ Moore should be best left as fantasy WR3s.
