The Philadelphia Eagles have been very active when it comes to making trades. They made two trades on Sunday. The first of which saw them acquire quarterback Sam Howell from the Minnesota Vikings. In the second trade, they acquired their former offensive tackle Fred Johnson from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, they are making another move, but this one sees them sending away a player.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Eagles are sending offensive tackle Darian Kennard to the Green Bay Packers.
“A hat trick of trades today for the Eagles: Philadelphia now is acquiring a 2027 sixth-round pick from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for offensive tackle Darian Kennard, per sources,” Schefter reports via X. “It is the third Eagles trade today, and the second involving an OT. The Eagles also traded for OT Fred Johnson, then traded Kinnard, who already is a three-time Super-Bowl champion at age 25.”
The Eagles will kick off the 2025 season when they host the Dallas Cowboys on September 4th.
