The NBA Draft won’t be conducted on Monday night, but the No. 1 overall pick might as well be.
There’s as big a favorite for the top spot as there has been in a decade, and one lucky team will get to take a chance at that.
That favorite, of course, is Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg.
The big but skilled Flagg, at 6-foot-10, led his college team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. He’s the first freshman ever to do that while making the NCAA Tournament in that same season with a new team.
There are 14 NBA teams that technically have the chance to get a spot atop the draft board.
