There has been plenty of trade speculation surrounding Miami Dolphins superstar Tyreek Hill, and everyone’s eyes will be on a potential deal during the 2025 NFL Draft.
Though it remains to be seen what the Dolphins will ultimately do, there should be plenty of trade suitors for the $90 million star, who has two years remaining on his current deal. That contract is part of the reason why Miami could put Hill on the trade block.
The Dolphins could have a potential trade suitor in the Dallas Cowboys if they fail to land a prospect like Tetairoa McMillan at No. 12 overall, according to Moe Moton of Bleacher Report.
In this hypothetical proposal, the Cowboys receive WR Tyreek Hill and a 2025 fifth-round pick (No. 155 overall) in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick (No. 44 overall) and a 2026 fourth-round pick.
“If the Cowboys miss out on McMillan or pass on him, they could call the Dolphins to make a blockbuster move for Hill. Dallas would make Dak Prescott a happy quarterback if he returns from injury to see CeeDee Lamb and Hill as his top two receivers,” Moton wrote. “Dallas has $37.7 million in cap space. Though the club has had extension talks with edge-rusher Micah Parsons, it can still restructure a few contracts to make room for Hill’s $27.7 million cap hit if necessary.”
Pairing Hill with CeeDee Lamb would be a nightmare for NFL secondaries, and it would perhaps give Dallas the best offense in the division. With Dak Prescott recovering well from his season-ending hamstring injury, there would be a strong chance at a bounce-back campaign if Hill is moved.

There’s no denying what Hill means to the Dolphins offense. He’s the catalyst that can break the game wide open at any moment. Having Jaylen Waddle available would help soften the blow of Hill’s departure, but the Dolphins need to begin thinking about the future, especially with the All-Pro accounting for a $51.8 million cap hit next season.
It will be interesting to see if anything comes of a potential deal involving Hill, and the Cowboys should be a team to keep an eye on when the draft rolls around.
