Does Nikola Jokic love ‘Pink Pony Club’? Why NBA fans think Nuggets star listens to Chappell Roan hit

Nikola Jokic loves his horses, something he made perfectly clear when he preferred to go home to Serbia to visit the steeds he owns rather than go to the Nuggets’ NBA championship parade in 2023.

But does he love Pink Pony Club, the pop hit by Chappell Roan?

Sadly, the multi-faceted big fella hasn’t shared that thought with the world. It hasn’t stopped social media from making the connection, though.

Because of Jokic’s love of horses – “It’s my passion. I love it,” he told the Denver Post in 2023 – there are a bunch of posts on X that suggest Jokic also has an affinity for Roan’s song.

The most viral might be this one:

And yes, Jokic and Roan actually share a birthday. He’s three years older, having just turned 30 to her 27.

It’s definitely fun to imagine Jokic bobbing his head along with Roan’s jam. Somehow, it wouldn’t feel at all out of place with his gregarious persona.

What music does Nikola Jokic like?

There’s one song that the NBA world knows Jokic is a big fan of: “Many Men,” by 50 Cent.

Teammate DeAndre Jordan first made the world aware of Jokic’s fondness for the tune.

“Peyton Watson is our locker room DJ, so anytime Nikola requests a song, if it’s not, like, Serbian folk music, it is ‘Many Men’ by 50 Cent,” Jordan said on the Run It Back podcast. “He knows the words from start to finish. … That’s his song, man, he loves it.”

Jokic was recently asked to perform it on TNT’s Inside the NBA.

“No, no, no, I’m not,” Jokic said. “(Jordan) is a bad teammate. I love the song, I love the song, but I’m not going to (rap it).”

Thankfully, Jokic’s NBA career is far from over. He may disappear from the spotlight and hang out with his horses in the offseason, but there’s still a chance for him to rap for a national audience – or maybe to learn the words to Roan’s biggest hit, too.
