The Dodgers announced a Kobe Bryant bobblehead night for fans at Dodger Stadium on August 8. The 8/8 event against the Toronto Blue Jays represents the number Bryant wore in the first half of his career.
It’s the latest attempt by the Dodgers to honor Bryant. The Black Mamba was one of the biggest LA supporters while with the Lakers.
The first 40,000 fans will get the limited edition figurine, which features Bryant sporting a Lakers uniform while at bat. Additionally, he wears the Zoom Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” sneakers that were recently released.

The Dodgers remain at the top of the NL West and the league. Last year’s MVP, Shohei Ohtani, looks to repeat. He continues to hit home runs while getting back into pitching. Will Smith leads the team in average while Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman continue to produce.
