While there were reports that the Jazz weren’t interested in trading the one-time All-Star, Markkanen is heading to TEAM X, according to NEWSBREAKER.
The No. 7 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Markkanen earned an All-Star selection and was named Most Improved Player in 2022-23. In 55 games with the Jazz last season, he averaged 23.2 points and 8.2 rebounds while shooting 39.9 percent from 3-point range.
Markkanen is entering his age 27 season. He has one year remaining on his current contract.
