Dillian Whyte blasted British rival Derek Chisora in a scathing interview, raging that he would “love to smash his face in again!”
After announcing his next fight on June 7 on the undercard of Fabio Wardley vs Justis Huni at Portman Road, Ipswich, former world title contender Dillian Whyte (31-3, 21 KOs) shared his feelings towards sworn enemy Derek Chisora during an interview with Queensberry Promotions.
The 37-year-old raged at his fellow Londoner, “Derek Chisora’s a pu-sy! If he was here, I would tell him to his face. He’s a pu-sy!
“He’s pr-ck because he went and did some unethical stuff, behind my back, which I don’t like.
“He went and tried to kick me when I was down, he’s a scumbag.
“Derek Chisora is subhuman, he’s a scumbag. I don’t like him and because of that I’d really love to fight him and smash his face in again. But he doesn’t want to fight. He talks like he’s a hard man, but he’s a pu-sy, he’s scum.”
“The Brixton Bodysnatcher” fought “WAR” Chisora twice, firstly in a close contest in December 2016, ending via split decision to Whyte; then their 2018 rematch ended far more conclusively when Dillian knocked Derek out in the 11th round.
Jamaican-born Whyte claimed the WBC Interim heavyweight title in his very next fight, which eventually landed him a world title shot at Tyson Fury, which took place under the iconic Wembley arch in front of 90,000 live spectators.
The Londoner wasn’t able to take his long-awaited chance after he was knocked out with yet another troublesome uppercut in the sixth round. It’s a punch he is especially susceptible to having been knocked out by Anthony Joshua, Alexander Povetkin, and Fury, all via the same shot.
Last year, Whyte fought twice, stopping heavyweight veterans Christian Hammer and Ebenezer Tetteh in rounds three and seven, respectively.
Now aged 41, Chisora is looking to hang up his gloves after fight no.50, so it’s entirely possible he could potentially choose to end his career with a trilogy against Whyte.
