A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo have been unofficially official when it comes to what they’ve shared with the public, but the couple may have just hard-launched their relationship.
The Las Vegas Aces recently hosted their annual The IX Awards, which is a ceremony they have each year, “to honor women and men whose exemplary lives represent the spirit of Title IX, and this year Wilson stepped out with her long-rumored beau, Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo. The couple was photographed together at the event, and they complemented each other nicely with their matching white outfits.
For the occasion, Wilson wore a white mini dress with clear straps, which she accessorized with gold star chandelier earrings. Tying her braids into a bun, she kept her makeup neutral and dewy. As for Adebayo, he opted for a white double-breasted blazer and black trousers, accessorizing his look with brown eyeglasses.

Wilson has given some tidbits about their relationship over the past few months. In February, she sat down with Elle magazine reporter Adrienne Gaffney, where she talked about giving Adebayo a shoutout at her South Carolina Jersey retirement ceremony. “The beautiful thing about our relationship, and our bond, is that we’re very aware of things. We know how to navigate through a lot of different things and never shy from moments, but also make sure that we uplift [each other],” she said.
“I would’ve been doing a disservice if I did not mention my favorite Olympian. Because of that favorite Olympian, you see the best of me. Because of the care and the support that not a lot of people see all the time. If I did not recognize my special Olympian, he wouldn’t be able to get his flowers.”
Well, it definitely seems like this relationship is blossoming, and we love to see it.
