Did the 76ers get rid of Paul George?
No, the Philadelphia 76ers have not gotten rid of Paul George.
A post from parody account NBA Centel proclaimed that George had been waived, but that’s not accurate.
George is entering the second year of a four-year, $211 million deal. The 76ers owe him a heck lot more money.
PG is slated to earn $51.7 million this year, $54.1 million next year and then has a player option for 2027-28 at $56.6 million.
