Deion Sanders has been receiving a lot of support since he was diagnosed with a mysterious illness.
The latest person to show up to support the Colorado Buffaloes football coach is retired NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones.
On Wednesday, Coach Prime, 57, took to social media to thank Jones for stopping by to check in on him.
He included a video of their time together, which showed a shirtless Jones standing near the water after catching a fish.
“God is so Good, another 1 of my sons came to see me and make certain I’m straight. He also wanted to fish so I was his guide today,” Sanders wrote on Instagram.
“Thank u my brother u gave me energy,” Sanders added.
Jones responded to the NFL star’s post, commenting, “Love you pop.”
Travis Hunter also stopped in to check on Coach Prime
Jacksonville Jaguars’ rookie Travis Hunter also stopped in to check on Coach Prime recently.
The former Colorado Buffaloes star traveled to Sander’s Texas compound over the weekend to enjoy some one-on-one time.
Highlights from the visit, shared on YouTube, showed Hunter reconnecting with his old coach on a boat while they fished together.
At one point in the clip, Deion could be seen driving the boat across a lake, as Travis sat comfortably near the front, admiring the view.
The NFL rookie later picked up a pole and cast it into the lake, as Deion fished beside him.
It’s unknown what is causing Sanders’ current health complications.
Last weekend, the Dallas Cowboys legend’s oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., gave a promising health update on the family’s YouTube account, writing, “It’s a beautiful thing: Coach Prime back active, moving around.”
He added, “God is great. Not back active moving around, but it’s progress. It’s a beautiful thing.”
Sanders’ previous health issues included two toe amputations on his left foot due to blood clots from an earlier surgery.
It’s unclear if his current issues are related to his previous illnesses.
