Bayern Munich haven’t been the most proactive clubs in the summer transfer window as their only major signing was signing Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
The German champions have invested big in bringing Diaz and now they will have to depend on selling players if they want to make more signings this summer.
In the last few days, they have made progress in players with Adam Aznou moving to Everton and Bryan Zaragoza going out on loan to Celta Vigo.
According to reports via Foot Mercato, Kim Min-jae’s representatives are in contact with Al Nassr as the South Korean international is open to a move to Saudi Pro League.
Al Nassr are rebuilding their roster under the leadership of new manager in Jorge Jesus as they have already renewed the contract of Cristiano Ronaldo.
They desperately want to build a team that can win the Saudi Pro League and also contend for the AFC Champions League Elite crown in the upcoming season.

Al Nassr are pushing to sign Kim as they believe his inclusion will improve their backline and will also allow him an opportunity to resurrect his career after an underwhelming 2024/25 campaign in Bavaria.
Therefore, the Saudi Pro League outfit are looking to reach an agreement with his representatives and then with Bayern to seal the move for the 28-year-old.
Interestingly, the German giants are reportedly open to selling the South Korean after his performances last season raised concerns in the camp over his quality.
What Kim Min-jae would offer to this Al Nassr team?
Ever since Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia, things have drastically changed for the Saudi Pro League as many famous footballers from Europa have made the switch.
However, Ronaldo is yet to win the Saudi Pro League with Al Nassr so the club have stepped up in their transfers this summer as they are determined to win titles in the upcoming season.
Aymeric Laporte may leave Al Nassr and therefore a move to Kim becomes more vital for the club as the South Korean could be an ideal replacement for the 31-year-old.
Leaving aside his last campaign with Bayern, Kim has hardly put a foot wrong ever since he moved to Europe in 2021 when he joined Fenerbahce from Beijing Guoan in China.
The 28-year-old had a strong start in Turkey, but he made his name in Serie A while featuring for Napoli.
Kim was also nominated as Serie A’s best defender from the 2022/23 campaign where he guided Napoli to the Scudetto with his stellar performances in defence.
Following his heroics, Bayern Munich came calling in 2023 and due to constant managerial changes at the club, Kim never really managed to settle in Bavaria.
He had a tough 2024/25 season where he made some elementary mistakes in crucial games leading to Bayern’s downfall in the Champions League but there were also reports of his injury due to extreme workload.
Overall, Kim is extremely physical, comfortable in possession and has decent positional awareness to succeed at the highest level.
Interestingly, Al Nassr have identified Aston Villa’s Pau Torres as a potential alternative to the Bayern Munich defender if in case they fail to reach an agreement.
