The football icon has teamed up with British director Matthew Vaughn to launch a new film studio called UR•Marv.
That’s right — the same Ronaldo who’s been breaking records on the pitch is now aiming for Hollywood stardom, and his partner-in-crime is the man behind Kingsman and X-Men: First Class. A red card for boredom, if you will.
The duo has already wrapped up two action films under the UR•Marv banner and a third is in the works. Their first release is just around the corner, and fans are waiting like it’s the 90th minute with the score level.
“This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business,” Ronaldo said in a joint statement.
Matthew Vaughn echoed the excitement, calling Ronaldo a “real-life superhero” and saying,
