On the first night of summer action in Vegas, No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg will make his professional debut when he and the Mavericks face a Lakers team headlined by Bronny James, son of future Hall of Famer LeBron James.

Flagg and James will likely be the two most popular players to take the floor in Las Vegas, and there is also the underlying rivalry bubbling between the Mavs and Lakers franchises. Couple that with a primetime slot, and you get the hottest ticket in Sin City.

Here’s just how hot that ticket has become, as the get-in price is believed to be reaching record levels.

While general admission tickets began at $67, the resale market has illustrated the demand for assigned seats to watch Flagg and James go head-to-head.

Days ahead of the matchup, TickPick shared data showing lower-bowl tickets were selling for $650 while courtside seats for the game were selling for $2,500, which doubles the $1,000 listed price for courtside seats during opening weekend.

The Mavericks and Lakers Summer League opener will be played on the main court at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center, a venue that holds 17,923 spectators for basketball games.

As of 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 9, general-admission tickets for Thursday’s game had not sold out, but UNLV shared that there were “not many left,” suggesting the arena will likely be at capacity for the game.
