Who could the Clippers bring back?
NBA insider Brett Siegel reported that the Clippers could be in the race for Bradley Beal, but also for Clippers legend Chris Paul.
As most know, CP3 has yet to win a championship.
He recently hinted that next season will likely be his last, so he’ll want one last shot at a title before retirement.
He’s currently a free agent and could be a cheap addition for Los Angeles while still getting quality production out of him.
MORE: Chris Paul gives major update on imminent retirement timeline
Paul is one of the greatest playmaking/defending guards the league has seen.
How great would it be for a retirement tour back with a team where he was loved by the fans, unlike anything we saw in other cities in his career.
Not only would he be returning, but the Clippers could be a legitimate contender next season with the roster they have.
Reports have said that Paul wants to play closer to home next season, which would be a perfect fit for him if he plays in Los Angeles.
Paul played six seasons with the Clippers from 2011-2017.
