Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray is a rising star in the NFL.
The only problem for him is that Travis Kelce is still ahead of him on the depth chart.
Gray wouldn’t ever want anything bad to happen to Kelce, of course.
But if the future Hall of Fame tight end misses time, Gray would benefit.
Not only would he be able to prove his worth more fully, but Gray could also make $500,000.
His contract would give him $250K apiece for playing 75% of the offensive snaps and for making 50 catches, per Spotrac.

If Kelce were to retire, Gray could easily reach those numbers.
But with Kelce on the field, those digits would be tough.
All Gray can do is keep putting himself in position so that when it is his time to shine, he’ll be ready.
