Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback has not only captivated his team’s fanbase, but respect around the league, including from opposing coaches. One of the coaches who has had a bit of history against Burrow is Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator who has faced Burrow five times, and Burrow has had plenty of success against the 4-time Super Bowl champion coach.
In the new season of Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’ series, cameras captured Spagnuolo giving Burrow the highest praise, saying that he’s the best quarterback in the world behind Chiefs’ gunslinger Patrick Mahomes. Understandably, Spagnuolo is going to put his own quarterback, who has won three Super Bowl rings ahead of Burrow who has yet to win one. Take a look at the moment Spagnuolo embraces with Burrow on ‘Quarterback’

In five career matchups against Spagnuolo and the Chiefs, Burrow is 3-2, throwing for 1,510 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. The two teams are not scheduled to play one another during this year’s regular season, so if Burrow wants to continue to impress Spagnuolo, it’ll have to come during the playoffs.
