Chelsea youngster wants out as Bundesliga clubs register interest

Chelsea’s transfer window keeps getting busier and busier.

The club has brought in reinforcements for several positions, and Enzo Maresca is looking to make more changes.

There is also a long list of players hoping to exit the club to secure more playing time, and another name has been added to the list.

Which young player wants to leave Chelsea?

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tyrique George wants to leave Chelsea to establish regular playing time.

The 19-year-old forward played in just eight Premier League matches for the first team last season, and his role could diminish even more with Liam Delap and Joao Pedro coming in.

According to Romano, Chelsea would like to keep George, but they acknowledge his desire for regular playing time.

RB Leipzig and Gladbach are two Bundesliga clubs interested in the young Englishman.

Chelsea are keen on Leipzig’s Xavi Simons, and Leipzig have inquired about George during the clubs’ negotiations.

Deals for Simons and George would be separate, but if Chelsea agrees a deal for Simons, Leipzig could be even more keen on signing George, even if it is just a loan deal.
