Chelsea star believes he can refind his best form at the club

Following the summer arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, Nicolas Jackson has been strongly linked with a move away from Chelsea.

The Blues are not thought to be pushing the 24-year-old out of the club, and there remains a possibility that he remains in west London.

If Jackson does, the Senegal international is convinced that he can rediscover his best form for the club, and fight for his starting spot in Enzo Mareesca’s plans.

Jackson started the 2024/25 season very strongly with four goals in his first five Premier League games of the campaign.

However, he failed to maintain that consistency in front of goal as the season wore on and also faced disciplinary problems in thee final weeks of 2024/25.

He was sent off in the closing weeks of the season against rivals Newcastle United and picked up another red card in the recently concluded Club World Cup.

Could Nicolas Jackson leave Chelsea?

Jackson’s lack of goals – and frequent red cards – continue to be an issue for Chelsea fans and Maresca needs to make a decision on his intentions for the former Villarreal man.

However, according to journalist Rahman Osman, Jackson get back on track at Chelsea next season if the manager retains faith in him.

However, Jackson staying at Stamford Bridge is not completely in his hands, as it depends on what guarantees Maresca is willing to give him.
