Chelsea set for two more potential signings after Joao Pedro

According to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are not done yet in the transfer market, following the recent signing of new attacking players.

The Blues are currently competing in the Club World Cup in the USA, where they have advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament.

However, they are equally busy off the pitch as they try to strengthen their squad ahead of the next Premier League season.

Enzo Maresca’s team have already signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, and are on the verge of adding Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund and Joao Pedro from Brighton and Hove Albion, respectively.

However, if transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is to be believed, Enzo Maresca’s team is not done shopping this summer.

Romano had the latest out on his YouTube channel last night, and he dropped some intriguing new updates.

What Romano said about Chelsea’s remaining transfer plans

Romano said, “Chelsea are not done yet on the market; they are looking at centre backs and potentially one more offensively.”

“I think we will also still see a new goalkeeper arrive this summer, as well as another attacker and another centre back. I just think they are biding their time with a goalkeeper and will even try again for Mike Maignan.”

Romano’s words confirm what we already know about Chelsea’s plans for the rest of the summer.

The Blues are desperately in need of an experienced centre-back who can lead the defensive line and a good goalkeeper who is not prone to making silly mistakes.

Now that Romano has confirmed Chelsea’s plans for the summer, it’ll be interesting to see who the Blues sign in the remainder of the window.
